Summer Dresses
Rule #245: Whether it’s a wedding, graduation, backyard BBQ, or beach trip, summer always gives the perfect is excuse for a new dress!
It’s the season for all the things: weddings, graduations, BBQ, fireworks, parties, beach trips, vacays, etc. Summer is full of so many fun little events. I don’t know about you, but I love finding cute (and comfy) dresses that I can throw on and head out the door in. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite dresses that would be great for any of your summer activities!
Lilly Pulitzer Adrianna Sundress | Love me some Lilly. This can be dressed up with some wedges or even solid-colored pumps or dressed down with sandals as pictured.
Satin Slipdress | I love the simplicity of this one. It’s sexy but understated.
Twist Neck Maxi Dress | Did you say beach? This one looks so stinkin’ comfortable! It has a very sassy slit in the side, too.
Chambray Shift Dress | Chambray and I have a love affair. I love that this dress has the cute color and pockets.
Polo Collar Linen Cotton Shift Dress | Another cutie with a collar and pockets. This one would be great for so many occasions: date night, graduation, BBQ, beach trip, brunch, etc.
Striped Linen Cotton Shift Dress | Summer is the season for linen! This dress is classic, and I love that you wouldn’t need a strapless bra (it’s the little things).
Lace Midi Dress | This one is in my cart right now (comes in a ton of colors). I can’t decide which color I want – I’m leaning towards white. It would be great for a wedding or date night!
Off the Shoulder Dress | Can’t go wrong with a LBD that’s off-the-shoulder and oh-so-sassy. I like the length of the ruffle overlay.
Handkerchief Midi Dress | For some reason this one just caught my eye and brought me back to the 90’s with its floral print and ruffle neck line. It’s flirty, chic, and would be great for a casual wedding!
Now then, I’m off to go put on a dress and walk around the house like I’ve got somewhere fancy to be! Sometimes, you’ve just gotta fake it, right?
