Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2019
Rule #117: The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the Superbowl of shopping.
You may think I’m kidding. I’m not. This sale is where it’s at. It gets bigger and better every year. I get almost half of my Christmas shopping done during this sale, and obvi snag quite a few goodies for myself at a huge discount. I’ve rounded up (quickly) the things I’ve bought this year, in past years, and other things I’m hoping Santa buys for me. (Wink, wink Jon Boy!) I’ve dished on some “pro” tips at the end of the post, too. Here we go!
Zella High Waist Leggings | These are my all-time favorite workout pants! They’re nice enough to wear when you’re not at the gym, too. I always stock up during the Anniversary Sale because the discount is so awesome! I normally order a small for size reference. I also bought this style, and this cropped pair.
Natori Underwire Bra | Another staple I always stock up on during this sale! These are my favorite bras of all time. So comfy and made of great quality, but still provide maximum oomph if ya know what I mean… I also bought this bra in the champagne color.
Beachwaver Rotating Curling Iron | I bought this curling iron during the Anniversary Sale a while back, and I LOVE it! It’s a fool-proof way to get wavy, beachy curls. The sale is the best time to get it because it’s on a major discount!
Patagonia Fleece Jacket | I’ve had this jacket on my Wish List for almost a century now (or a couple of years). It always sells out during the Anniversary Sale, so I wanted to make sure to get it this year!
UGG Slippers | Another Wish List item from days of old! These Ugg Slippers are so stinkin’ cute and also sell out super fast during the sale. My old Uggs are probably 12 years old, so I figured it was time for a replacement pair.
Gorjana Hammered Coin Necklace | This necklace is probably my favorite snag of the sale so far! I love Gorjana pieces because you can adjust their length using the custom clasps they put on the necklaces. They are perfect for layering or just wearing my themselves!
Supergoop Antioxidant Sunscreen | I stock up on this sunscreen every year! It’s normally pretty pricey, so I go for the big discount the Anniversary Sale offers. I bought three bottles during last year’s sale, and I just ran out on our last beach trip. It’s got great protection plus it’s infused with antioxidants!
BP Jogger Sweatpants | I looooove these sweatpants! I bought the camo style last year (and even a matching pair for my bestie). We both live in them year round! I had to snag the leopard print because the price is too good to pass up.
Gibson Twist Pullover | I’m a sucker for comfort. This pullover looked too good to pass up. I love the length of the sleeves and the fact that the shirt covers your tooshie. I plan on wearing this with leggings and a big chunky necklace in the fall!
Cubic Zirconia Earrings | I love a good pair of simple earrings. These are great quality and will be a staple in the ole jewelry box!
Lace Trim Cami | I plan on layering this one in the fall with a chunky sweater and some layered necklaces! It’s a great length plus has adjustable straps. A good staple to have!
Thermal Henley | Another great closet staple to layer in the fall and winter. I love that it’s a v-neck, too!
UGG Throw Blanket | Oh my guhhhhh. This would be a fantastic Christmas gift (for me) or anyone who loves a good snuggle.
Treasure and Bond Large Cheese Board | I’m a sucker for a good cheese and/or charcuterie board. This would make a gorgeous gift for a hostess, foodie, or yourself!
Chunky Knit Accent Pillow | I’m in love with the texture of this accent pillow. It would be perfect to throw on the couch in the winter to add some cozy comfort.
Textured Marble Coasters | The price on these bad boys is insane. They’re so classy and chic! They would make a great teacher or hostess gift!
One “pro” tip I’d like to add is that if you’re a Nordy Club Member (have a Nordstrom Credit Card), then make sure to make the day you place a big order your “Double Points Day”. Also, if you think you like something, ORDER IT ASAP. Things go so, so fast during this sale! I wanted to link some cute Chardonnay glasses that were only $15, and they’re already gone! I saw them just 12 hours ago. You can always return whatever you’re not in love with! Keep in mind that even though items sell out, they can always be restocked. Add “sold out” items to your wish list or pin them on Pinterest for later if you’re interested in them! The sale lasts from now (for card holders – July 19th for non-cardholders) until August 4th! Things will come and go throughout the entire sale.
