Loving Lately
Rule #108: “But it was on sale!” is always a good excuse.
Here’s another round up of some of the things I’m loving lately… including some great shoes that Jon Boy loves that are on SALE right now!

This dress is oober comfy and flattering. It’s not maternity, but I can wear it both now with the big bowling ball belly and after Baby G #2 is here! I love the length (mid-thigh) of this one, too. It’s great for a girl-on-the-go this summer!
Women’s Floral Tunic Shift Dress

This is another non maternity find (can you tell I’m all done ordering the belly-specific stuff?) that I’m loving. It’s perfect for now because it gives my bowling ball some room, but I plan on wearing it next summer, too! And for $20 plus Amazon Prime shipping, I ain’t mad about it.

MIA Brenda Espadrille Flat | $45
I saw these come up on my “suggestions for you” on Nordstrom, and I couldn’t resist. I mean after all, my shoes still fit these days, right? I ended up having to order a half-size-up because the material is pretty tight on your foot. These are so cute, and really get me in a “I love summer even though I’m melting” mood!
Swims Loafers | Select Colors on Sale at Nordstrom Rack
Jon Boy has a pair of these and absolutely LOVES them. He actually just ordered a couple more colors because they’re ON SALE right now for less than half the regular price at Nordstrom Rack. These are a great pair of slip-on shoes that feel and act like sneakers but look a bit classier. Jon wears them out for a casual dinner, running errands, and even to places where they could get wet. He normally wears a size 10 shoe, but we ordered an 8 for him and that’s a great fit. I’d suggest ordering a couple of sizes and returning (for free – always free returns with Nordstrom + Nordy Rack) the ones that don’t fit.

Resin Stacking Rings | $34
These stacking rings have become my new wedding + engagement rings for the foreseeable future. My chubby fingers are already too swollen for my regular little pretties, so I’m using these guys instead. I shower, workout, cook, garden, and wrangle Corey in them. They’re pretty durable to say the least. I’m wearing the ones with white + gold flakes and the yellow rose gold flakes, but I’m also eyeing the deep blue.
Seamless Shaping Shorts | 2 for $30
These are NOT MATERNITY! Being pregnant brings about all kinds of… issues… we’ll just leave it there. These shorts make me feel much more comfortable when I’m wearing my many cotton dresses. They give me enough support without feeling like Spanx (although I love those, too). They’re very comfortable and make you feel just the right amount of… “shaped”.
Sugar Fresh Lip Treatment SPF 15 | $24
Can’t stop. Won’t stop. I post about this lip treatment at a borderline annoying rate, but I can’t stress enough how awesome it is. It’s also perfect for summer and the pool because it has a little SPF in it! I wear it to bed and don’t wake up with any clogged pores (I have the ice cream to blame for my pregnancy acne).
Fresh Rose Cleansing Foam | $29
Because of how much I’ve loved the Fresh lip products, I’ve recently switched over all my skincare products to the brand. I’m in love! The price is much better than my previous skincare, and the line is doing the job beautifully. My skin feels incredibly clean and hydrated. I’m still trying out the different items in the line, but my favorites are the cleanser (linked above), Night Face Cream, Daily Lotion, Eye Gel, and the Toner.

Now that summer is here and we’re all planning on soakin’ up the sun a little more, we need to have some good skin protection. I’ve got some pretty sensitive skin and also have a condition called Melasma. It’s a condition where certain parts of your skin darkens more than other areas. It ends up looking kind of like dirt on your face if you’re not careful. My dermatologist told me that from the time of diagnosis on, I had to use a sun screen with Zinc Oxide in it. This sun screen stick has been my go-to for almost five years now. It’s a very convenient stick, so I can apply as often as I need!
