Simple Syrup

Simple syrup is seriously just that: simple. It’s easy to make and is the base of tons of cocktail recipes.

I used to be very intimidated by things like making this recipe until I decided to just give it a try. The best part is you can make a large batch and keep it in the fridge for up to 1 week. It makes it easy to whip up your favorite cocktails any old time.

Simple syrup is used in tons and tons of cocktails. It might be daunting to think about making it, but trust me…

Easiest thing ever. Don’t be afraid. You got this.

 Seriously Simple Syrup

1 cup white, granulated sugar
1 cup water

Bring both to a boil over medium heat in a medium saucepan. Immediately stir to dissolve, then remove from heat. Allow to cool and store in a closed container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Here is a great cocktail to try!

If you need a good cocktail shaker, try this one.

You can also buy your own syrup if you’d like, but it’s way cheaper to just whip it up on your own at home, in my opinion. Plus, homemade is usually always a better option than storebought.
