Loving Lately

I’ve had some luck with the necessities lately: anti-frizz cream for your hair, perfect leggings, and an absolutely perfect necklace. Oh, and the Mom Uniform. That’s been on repeat lately. Allow me to break it all down for ya.

Houston. I love you for your baseball, BBQ, and backyard lounging. I loathe you with a deep, fiery passion for your humidity. Forget the heat. I can take heat – I loooooove New Mexico and that’s a desert, y’all. But humidity. I can’t even. I got this Aveda Smoother in a sample a while back, and it worked perfectly! I’ve got pretty bad whispy hairs right on the top of my lil’ ole head thanks to post-partum hormones. It’s tough to make them behave, but this smoother really does the trick. You just put a bit into damp hair and style as usual. I still have to use a little hairspray, but it at least stands a chance against Houston’s purely evil humidity.

These. Leggings. They’re only $15, and they’re perfection. High-waisted, tummy-tucking, and smooth as silk. They’re comfy enough for squatting, ducking, sitting, lounging, driving, etc. but they still look good-as-new when you’re up and about. Best part is that I don’t have to roll the bottom! I’m only 5’3″, but they also fit my slender and tall sister-in-law. These are amazing. Buy 8 pairs. I’m not joking. Now. Go.
