Loving Lately
Rule #234: Good finds are worth the wait.
It’s been a hot minute since I did a little Loving Lately post, so this one is chock-full (what does that phrase even mean) of goodies from women’s clothing to beauty finds to kids’ toys and lots in between! There’s something in every price range, too. I hope you find something worth loving.
Floral Sleeveless Dress | Knox Rose ($35)
This Knox Rose brand from Target is my JAYUM, y’all! Great price, great quality, great fit. Hard to beat! Wearing a small for reference. I’ve had a ton of y’all ask where my bow is from: it’s from Willow Crowns (based here in Cypress, TX).
Eyelet Embroidered Shift Dress | Knox Rose ($30)
Another winner from the Knox Rose brand. This one is SO comfy and flattering. Wearing a small for reference.
The Rip Curl brand at Nordstrom is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Here are a few of the things I’ve purchased from them recently. All full of beachy, flirty goodness!
This one is a great find for the beach trip I’m dreaming of! I’ve been just wearing it around the house on the weekends, drink-in-hand, pretending I’m walking on the sand and listening to the waves instead of “MAMA! I POOPED! CAN YOU COME WIPE ME!?” Wearing a medium for reference.
Definitely (hoping anyway) to wear this little number for our anniversary in a couple of weeks. Wearing a medium for reference.
I wore this one (similar) for Brooke’s First Birthday. I love the fit and flow of it!
LOFT Denim Shorts | Tie Front Top | Willow Crowns Bow
My favorite outfit of the month! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shorts! I don’t know why, but it’s so hard to find a good pair of denim shorts these days. Way to go, LOFT, for coming in for the clutch win!
LOFT Tie Front Top (Now $25 with code: SUNNY)
This top is on major sale! Again – LOFT FTW!
Tula Blurring & Moisturizing Primer | SuperGoop CC Cream | Tula Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm | Tula Day & Night Cream
Oh my gerrr. My sister-in-law filled me in on the goodness that is Tula, and I am hooked! I’ve been using the Tula products pictured for a couple of months now, and they’re all wonderful. The Primer I actually use alone as foundation right now with a little powder, blush, and highlighter. When I’m feeling fancy, I’ll use the CC Cream by Supergoop. I’ve used that for years and love it for its coverage and sunscreen. The Tula Eye Balm is BY FAR my favorite beauty product purchase this year (minus the Luna 2 below). When you put it on, there’s a little tingling that makes you feel refreshed and brightened instantly. Finally, the Tula Day & Night Cream has been my go-to night cream. There are rave reviews online, and I can see why! It’s so moisturizing!
Okay. This little number, y’all. LIFE CHANGING! I’ve been using it for a couple of months now, and it’s completely changed my skin. My pores are smaller, my skin is tighter, and my complexion is more even. It’s truly a miracle worker. Think about this: if you spend a lot on your products, then shouldn’t you spend equally as much on how you apply them? I’ve traditionally just used good ole washcloths to wash my face. This guy massages your skin while cleansing, leaving your skin feeling extra smooth, clean, and refreshed! There are many other Luna Cleansing Devices for all skin types and price ranges.
Now moving on from cute clothes and delectable beauty products, here are some great finds I’m loving lately.
I put these bad boys on whenever I’m walking around the ‘hood. They ironically make my back and obliques most sore, not my legs. They make my heart rate go up, too, which is a big plus! I feel like I’m bringing back the 80’s with these.
These arrive on Saturday, and I am PUMPED (no pun intended… okay… 100% intended). I’ve been using jars of marinara sauce as hand weights, so yeah, it was time for an upgrade.
These bands are perfect for at-home barre workouts or regular ole booty-toning workouts. They come in all different levels of intensity.
Jon Boy recently bought this for some of his fave guys for Father’s Day. It’s the easy way to take the temperature of the meat on your grill or Big Green Egg.
We’ve been living our best backyard lives during this weird Covid Life. We finally found a big pool that’s large enough for the kids and for us to party!
No telling how much pee is in here with us, but hey, it’s worth it. Fun in the sun, y’all!
Father (I got Jon Boy a large) & Son (We got Corey a Youth 6) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shirts
Both the little and the big man of the house are obsessed with TMNT right now. We found them matching shirts on Amazon, and they are living their best lives.
I’ve had a ton of questions on Instagram about Brooke’s dresses. We live and breathe Sweet Honey Clothing, y’all! Her stuff is just to die for. It’s adorable, great quality, and comfy for the little Texas Tornado here.
I randomly bought this with a Target Curbside order, and the kids have been obsessed with it! Both of them love to play with it, and it eats up a good bunch of bathtime, so Mama and Daddy are happy!
Corey’s been a little building machine lately, and he really loves these magnetic tiles. This current model below is the International Space Station according to Mr. C. I love toys like this that make him use that beautiful brain.
Both kids are loving this toy. It comes with a pen (attached), two little shapes (house and Mickey Mouse), and stencils, too! It’s been great for helping Corey with his tripod grip of the pen.
Fourth of July Bracelets for Kids
I thought these would be great for sassy little Brooke as we celebrate the 4th!
These have been great for Brookie! She can’t break them like regular crayons, and they help with her grip, too. They even come with a cute bag which, of course, she’s loving.
I always love something that’s from the Go Green side of life. These are perfect for your drink of choice, and they’re dishwasher safe!
Cheers to Friday, y’all! We made it through another week of 2020. I hope your weekend is full of laughs, love, and lightheartedness.
I hope you’ve found something to love in this Loving Lately post!
