Gift Guide for Kids
Rule #29: Make your list, and check it twice!
Finding unique gift ideas for kids can be really challenging, so I’ve tried to round up a good list of a variety of gifts in this Gift Guide for Kids this year. I hope you find something for a special kiddo in your life!
Kids Waterproof Digital Video Camera | Under $40
This camera looks like a ton of fun for kids of all ages! Plus, it has over 2,700 reviews and almost a perfect rating on Amazon!
How fun would this be to have in a kids’ playroom or bedroom?
IYKYK. Bringing back the 90’s with this Tamagotchi gift!
Fujifilm Instax Mini 11 Camera
This camera was a huge hit with kids in our neighborhood last year. They loved snapping pics and immediately seeing them printed! Shoutout Polaroid Kids!
Glow Up Mini Stunt Drone | $35
This is a great price for a mini drone, and I usually trust Sharper Image to make good quality products. The remote looks very kid friendly, too.
Coleman Kids Mini Lantern | $9
These mini lanterns would be a fun Stocking Stuffer or a gift for kids in the neighborhood so they could play with them together.
This bubble machine is actually on Penny’s, our Golden Retriever, wish list this year. She loves her some bubbles, and she’s worn out her bubble machine from last Christmas!
This would be another great neighborhood kid gift! Plus, any gift that keeps kids moving is a solid bonus in my book.
I can’t wait to give this adorable Harry Potter journal to our niece. She loves her some HP, as do we! I love this unique little gift.
Bring back the 70’s (and 2000’s for me) with this groovy bit.
Can you sense a theme here? Bring back the years of Tetris with this strategy game.
Candy Land Disney Princess Game
This cute Princess version of Candy Land is definitely on Brooke’s wish list!
Osmo Creative Starter Kit | Other Osmo Games & Sets
I can’t say enough positive things about Osmo. We bought ours during lockdown in 2020, and the kids both still love to play on them. I love the games because they’re interactive and educational. There is very minimal effort on my part! Win. Win. Win.
LEGO Harry Potter Wizards Chess Kit
If Corey were older, we’d definitely be getting this set for him!
Corey’s had a few of these kits and has loved every one. It provides hours of entertainment!
Corey and Brooke both love kits like this one! It gives them hours of entertainment and STEM learning experience.
Baby Gund Flappy The Elephant Musical Stuffed Animal
This is probably Brooke’s favorite toy of all time. She loved this little elephant so much that I asked my in-laws to get her a stuffed elephant to sleep with. This sweet one sings songs to baby and does “play time”. This would make a great gift for a baby!
Custom Name Wooden Blocks | $10
How precious are these name blocks? These would make a great little gift for kids of all ages.
Personalized Apron and Baking Set
This would make a precious gift for the family.
Kids Placemats (Set of 4) | $20 | Upper-Level Placemats
We’ve got both sets of the placemats linked above, and the kids love them! They’re great conversation starters at meals, and they’ve helped the kids with their different areas of learning. The Upper-Level Placemats are Corey’s favorite.
The Spirit of Our Hometown Custom T-Shirts
These gorgeous, custom shirts are made by two of my gorgeous friends right here in Cypress! If you’re local and want a Spirit Shirt for your little one, check out their Instagram page to see their wonderful creations!
This might be a boring gift according to your kid, but I can’t rave enough about the quality of Columbia jackets. Corey loves his!
Here are some great, unique gift ideas for the kiddos’ teachers, too!
This one isn’t for the kiddos, but for their wonderful teachers instead. We all need good ideas (and please, no mugs!) for the amazing people who educate our littles.
Happy Weekend Eve, y’all!
