Amazon Prime Day is always a marathon for us. It’s when we (okay, I) do a huge bulk of Christmas shopping for the kids, pets, family, etc. It’s a great time to snag amazing deals and get (majorly) ahead of the holiday rush! We’ve also found that we budget so much better when we shop in advance of the busy holiday season. Here’s what we’ve found so far!
How to Train Your Dragon Blu-Ray Set | We are all in love with these movies! I love that the set comes with all 3 movies in Blu-Ray and Digital. We attach the digital copies to our Amazon Prime account, so we can watch them using the Amazon Fire Stick when we travel.
Amazon Fire Kids Tablet | Probably one of the hottest deals for Prime Day! I’m trying to convince Jon Boy to get one for Corey for his first plane ride coming up here soon. I love that it has so many parental control options (even an app), and that it’s only $59!
Piano Toy Keyboard with Microphone | We got this for Miss Brooke! I think it will be so fun for her to play with as she grows.
Melissa & Doug Dinosaurs Floor Puzzle (60 pieces) Only $7! | Corey is obsessed with puzzles right now. I’m loving it because it keeps him happy and occupied for at least 15 minutes per puzzle. He’s gotten to the point to where he’s a pro at the 45 pieces puzzles we have, so Im stocking up for Ole Saint Nick now. Mr. Potato Head Set | I mean… it’s Mr. Potato Head. I feel like I’ve done Corey a disservice by not getting him one of these yet!
Water Wow! Reusable Coloring Packs | These have always been a big hit with Corey! I’m excited that these are simple alphabet, animal, and number pads. These will be coming with us on our flight to Chicago later this year. He can just color ’em up (with water), then they’ll dry on their own, and he can use them again later.
Battery Free Echo Microphone | This will be in Brooke’s stocking for sure! We used to use these when I was teaching as a fun way for kids to read aloud to themselves.
Chutes and Ladders | Possibly my favorite part of the Amazon Prime Day Deals are on the classic board games. This year, Jon Boy really wanted to get Chutes and Ladders, so I happily obliged! I also bought Connect 4, In the past few years, I’ve bought Candy Land, Farkle, Guess Who, Mouse Trap, On our wish list: The Game of Life, Sorry, Jenga, Hi-Ho Cherry-O, Monopoly Jr., Twister, and Battleship. We love us some games! They make such great gifts, too!
Family Charades | I can’t wait to play this one with the group!
Wooden Playroom Table with 4 Chairs | Such a precious table and chairs set for a playroom for only $100!
VTech Smart Wheels Garage | Corey got a similar gift a few years ago and still plays with it religiously! Such a great deal!
Busy Poppin’ Pals Toy | This is a great gift idea for babies 6 months and up!
VTech Toy Remote | Another great gift for the babes… Corey and Brooke both love ours!
Step2 Water Table | We LOVE our water table like this one. This is such a great deal, I’m debating getting a second. Free delivery and only $35!
VTech Sit-to-Stand Walker | We actually have two of these bad boys (one for upstairs and one for downstairs). They’re a great grow-with-the-baby developmental toy. You can lock the wheels if you’re not sure about your wobbly walker, or unlock them to let your kiddo free!
Finding Dory Dive and Catch Game | Corey’s not ready to dive for these just yet, but for $7 I couldn’t pass these up. They’ll be waiting for him under the Christmas tree this year!
Toy Ukelele | Corey plays with his ukelele (we just call it a guitar) all the time! Cute gift idea for $18!
Glad Food Storage Set (20 containers) | This isn’t the sexiest gifts, but good tupperware is always a bonus on my Christmas list!
