Rule #242: Amazon has it all, y’all.

This Amazon Favorites round up is full of all things random: women’s accessories, kids’ goodies, home goods, and even some great Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) books for kiddos! I hope you find a little goodie for yourself or someone else. Plus, Amazon Prime Day ends today! Perfect time to do a little browsing.

Accessories

Knotted Head Bands | 6 for $13

I’m OBSESSED with these headbands. Hence why I took this extremely awkward selfie just to show you HOW CUTE THEY ARE! And at that price, I ain’t ashamed of it. These are perfect for covering up those pesky little roots or the fact that you haven’t washed your hair in weeks. It’ll be our little secret.

Resin Apple Watch Bands | 2 for $36

My hair dresser wore this band the last time I saw her, and I couldn’t take my eyes off of it! They’re not too tricky to put together either. It comes with two resin Apple Watch Bands that looks fancy, but ain’t a fancy price.

Silicone Apple Watch Bands | 3 for $13 (plus 15% off with coupon) (17 color combinations)

My go-to Apple Watch Bands are these little silicone ones. They’re durable, easy to clean, and easy to install. I love the color combo options, too!

Home Goods

Monthly Planner | $16

I’ve bought this simple monthly planner for years now. It’s just simple blocks with dates that you can write all your plans down on (although with Covid, there’s been a lot of crossing out this year). Hopefully next year, this bad boy will be filled with all kinds of fun stuff!

Meal Planning Calendar | $11

I’ve had a lot of y’all ask on Instagram about how I do our weekly meal plans. This little gem is the real kicker for me! It helps me analyze what I can ACTUALLY cook for dinner versus when it’s time to use the ole Crock Pot. To see some of our Weekly Meal Plans, click here.

Kids’ Educational Placemats | 4 for $20

The kids love these little educational placemats. I try to rotate them out every so often. Corey has a set for older kiddos, but it’s sold out right now on Amazon.

Buffalo Plaid Outdoor Door Mat | $36 | Hello Door Mat (not Amazon, but still cute) | $27

I changed up our outdoor mats again (sorry, Jon Boy). BUT! I couldn’t pass up this little Hello Door Mat. It’s not from Amazon, but the adorable Buffalo Plaid Mat is. I think it’s just spooky enough for October.

Wooden Framed Magnetic Board | $41| Melissa & Doug Disney Princess Magnets | $8

I’ve been looking for a magnetic board for Brooke’s room that would match the decor. I love this one because it’s got a cute wooden frame that fits in perfectly. She loves to play with her Disney princess magnets, too!

Key Lock Box with Wall Mount Option | $17

Brooke has developed a tendency to lock us out when we’re on the back patio on weekend mornings. So, instead of running to our neighbors when we need a key, Jon Boy installed one of these key lock boxes.

Genie Wireless Keyless Garage Door Opener | $32

We are LOVING this little game changer. Jon installed it in less than 15 minutes, and now it’s changed our running game! Instead of having the keys clanking around in our pockets, we just enter the code to enter and exit the garage. It’s a gem!

Kids’ Finds

Mary Jane Shoes (7 colors) | $22

We’ve bought these in every size for little missy here since she could walk. We currently have white (pictured below), and pink (her favorite). They’re durable, cheap, close-toed (perfect for school), and easy to put on! Brooke can even put hers on all by herself!

Toddler Duck Raincoat | $23

I couldn’t even with this little raincoat. For some reason, it reminds me of Barney. Some of you reading this are probably too young to know who that is, but trust me. There were ducks involved. Duck umbrellas, but whatever. I digress! This cute raincoat is perfect for when the weather isn’t its best or when your kid needs to keep their school clothes protected from their messy breakfast.

Kids’ Halloween and Dia de los Muertos Books

As a former librarian, I’ve gotta throw in some great books for this October and Halloween Season.

The Hallo-Wiener | $6 | Don’t Push the Button! A Halloween Treat | $6

Our sweet friend, Rachel, from AllerGeneFriendly.com recommended these books to us a while back. They are HILARIOUS! Corey and Brooke both love them. The Hallo-Wiener book is a great lesson in anti-bullying, too.

Room on the Broom | $5 | EEK! Halloween | $4 | Happy Halloween, Little Critter! $6

These are a few more of our Halloween Favorites. Sandra Boynton is by far my favorite kids’ author, so we had to get her Halloween Books. All of these are precious and great for young kiddos (aka – not scary)!

Celebrate the World: Dia de los Muertos | $8 | The Day of the Dead: A Bilingual Celebration | $7 | Day of the Dead | $7

We are going to do a mini Dia de los Muertos celebration at our house this year. We have some precious loved ones who have already passed, and this is such a beautiful way to remember and honor them. I have a lot of friends and family who are skeptical of the holiday, but I encourage you to check it out. It’s really a gorgeous time centered around love and family. My number one favorite book of these three would have to the be the Celebrate the World: Dia de los Muertos one. It’s cute, whimsical, and reminds us of the movie Coco.
